ABOUT

Novamar was founded in 2009 by young, yet experienced shipping professionals with the aim to provide customized transportation solutions with personal approach to its clients in order to ensure cost effective and prompt execution of every shipment.
Owing to years of solid performance and hundreds of successful fixtures, Novamar has established itself as a trustworthy partner for many numerous local and international charterers and commodities traders, shipowners and fleet operators active in company’s trading areas.

SERVICES

CHARTERING AND BROKERAGE

Novamar has built its name in the market as charterers, covering sea transportation requirements of local and worldwide clients. Using our experience and deep knowledge of the shipping market, we provide our clients with estimations of transportation costs allowing them to take correct commercial decisions. Due to long term cooperation and continuous support over the years, Novamar was chosen to perform several long period contracts of affreghtment. Our brokerage department successfully supports local and international traders carrying steel, grain, minerals, fertilizers and other commodities in lots from 1000 up to 30000 mt concentrating on Mediterranean, Black sea and Baltic areas. Owing to our close relationship with sea-river tonnage operators, Novamar can offer solutions for shipments from shallow draft ports.

BLACK SEA / ISRAEL STEEL SERVICE

Since 2009 Novamar operates a regular service to Haifa and Ashdod from main Black Sea ports, carrying steel products from Black sea ports to the majority of Israeli steel importers. Regular and frequent sailings allow us to offer our clients solutions even for small parcels and project cargo. Our expertise ensures loading and stowage of numerous parcels is done in compliance with local regulations to allow safe carriage and discharge in Israel. Nomination of trustworthy and professional agents ensures smooth port operations and delivery of goods to clients full satisfaction.

PROJECTS / IMO

Utilizing a unique portfolio of specialized tonnage, the company can offer transportation solutions for oversized and dangerous cargoes. Local experienced personnel is employed to ensure loading and carriage is done in compliance with all safety regulations.
While main areas of service remain Mediterranean and Black sea ports, the company executed numerous shipments to other destinations.

COMMERCIAL SHIPMANAGEMENT

In order to ensure continuous service and accommodate our clients needs, the company employs tonnage of different capacity for short or long term periods.
We provide our ship owner clients with full scope of services including negotiation of contract terms, freight invoicing, post fixture calculations, port agencies appointment, cargo attendance, bunkering and detailed reporting of vessel’s performance.

MULTIMODAL TRANSPORTATION

Through a global network of partners, Novamar can arrange complete logistic solutions including transhipment, reloading and delivery of the goods to clients doorstep by rail or trucks.
